Hacked domains in the .gr TLD of the day, February 28 2012

More domains hacked, and amongst them some known and some hacked again, and again. The system at http://respect.iccs.ece.ntua.gr seems that is getting hacked every other week by different people, also odeon, the well known cinema company group is having their webpage hacked.

Even that this Monday is a bank holiday and nothings seems to operate, hackers are still defacing websites. We have a list of 23 domains currently deface, nothing special on them (governmental or large company related) normal websites and company presentations.

Weekly statistics of hacked domains in the .gr TLD

This week we saw a few webpages hacked in the .gr domain.  There are at least another hundred domain that are not revealed in zone-h and belong to website hosting companies that got their webserver compromised.  Still the list for this week has 97 domains that makes it roughly 13 domains hacked per day.

Another .gov.gr website hacked, www.1724.syzefxis.gov.gr

Another .gov.gr website hacked, www.1724.syzefxis.gov.gr

One more governmental website is currently hacked, this time the domain belongs to the Municipality and Communities of Ilia Prefecture.
Even though syzefxis.gov.gr was build to be a redundant and secure service that will host the websites from the Greek prefectures we have seen late years many defacements in the domain.

ministryofjustice.gr hacked… again.

That’s the second time in just 20 days that ministryofjustice.gr is hacked. This time seems to be from another group, claiming that GHS ( that currently we saw some members caught by the police ) had nothing to do with the previews deface.
