LulzSec – No Carrier…

So, it looks like the top hacker organization LulzSec had been brought down inside out. As it turns out, the group’s leader known as “Sabu” and now identified as Hector Xavier Monsegur has been an informant of the FBI since last June.

Hackers stole all of Michael Jackson songs

Hackers stole all of Michael Jackson’s songs from Sony, when the latter suffered a second security breach. The breach apparently happened shortly after the first one, April last, but was not revealed until now. It is said that 50,000 songs have been downloaded from thieves, a damage that amounts to more than $253 million.
Sony paid $350 million to buy the rights to the entire back catalog of Michael Jackson, from his estate, including unreleased duets with – among others …

Facebook outage 07.03.2012

Panic spread across parts of Europe and Asia this morning, when social media users could not log into Facebook. Perplexed tweets mirror the confusion:
“Steve Rickman ? @srickman33: #Facebook is down across Europe. Who left Greece in charge of the Internet bill??
Users in England, Ireland, Sweden, Spain, Germany, Russia and Turkey reported that they were unable to reach the site, this morning. Some speculated that this was the work of hackers such as Anonymous or Lulzsec.
